Education & Formal Learning

Education is the most enduring form of public good. Trivarna works to keep children in school, open pathways for first-generation learners, and strengthen the schools, teachers, and community programmes already doing the hard work — through scholarships, infrastructure, and learning materials.

Practice & Heritage

Yoga, Wellness & Cultural Promotion

Yoga, classical and folk arts, music, and cultural traditions are living infrastructure for a healthy society. Trivarna supports the teachers, practitioners, and institutions that keep them alive — grounded in Karnataka's traditions, open to practices from across India and the world.

Care & Relief

Health & Medical Relief

Health systems work best when they reach the last mile. Trivarna focuses on the gaps: rural medical camps, support for patients who can't afford care, and emergency response during disasters — partnering with the hospitals, doctors, and frontline workers already on the ground.

Stewardship

Environment & Ecology

Environmental work is intergenerational. Trivarna's commitment is long-term and place-based — tree planting that survives, water bodies that get restored, and practices communities continue after we leave. We work with farmers, local bodies, schools, and conservation groups to make this practical.

Independent research and scientific innovation are foundational to public welfare — in health, agriculture, environment, and beyond. Trivarna supports researchers, institutions, and applied work that serves society, with a focus on practical research addressing challenges in Karnataka and rural India.

Sports & Physical Development

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. Trivarna identifies promising athletes — particularly from rural and underserved backgrounds — and helps with the practical things: coaching, equipment, travel, and competition exposure. We work alongside coaches, academies, and federations rather than trying to replace them.

This is the commitment that gives Trivarna Foundation its particular character. Across every field, there are people doing extraordinary service and never being thanked. Recognition is its own form of public good — it tells a society what it values, and the next generation what is worth aspiring to. We honour both the well-known and the never-known with the same care.

Some needs don't fit neatly into a category. Disaster relief, emergency response, and unforeseen causes of public utility are part of our remit so we can respond when it matters. We treat this category with the same rigour as our other commitments — transparent decision-making, clear use of funds, and partnerships with credible local organisations.
