Refund &
Cancellation Policy.

A donation is a voluntary gift in support of our charitable work. Once a donation is successfully processed, it is applied toward our programmes and, as a general rule, is not refundable.

We will refund a donation if:

• You were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical or payment-gateway error (duplicate transaction).
• An incorrect amount was charged due to a verified technical error on our website or payment page.
• The payment was made fraudulently using your payment details without your authorisation (subject to your bank’s or Razorpay’s standard dispute process).

Email info@trivarnafoundation.org within 7 days of the transaction, with your payment ID (shown on your Razorpay receipt), the amount, and the reason for the request. We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days.

Approved refunds are initiated within 7 working days of approval and are credited back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.

Since a donation is processed and settled immediately on payment, there is no “pending” order to cancel. If you change your mind before completing payment on the Razorpay checkout screen, simply close the payment window — no amount will be charged.

Each donation receipt cites our provisional approval under Section 354(4) of the Income-tax Act, 2025. If a donation is refunded under this policy, the corresponding receipt is void and may not be claimed as a tax deduction — we will notify you by email if this applies to your refund.
